Austin Pengilly

Austin Pengilly studied music education at Slippery Rock University and is a music educator in the Greater Pittsburgh region of Pennsylvania. Austin has been teaching at a multitude of programs since 2018. He is the assistant band director of the Mars Area Marching Band during the Fall season. During the winter season, Austin works with Mars Indoor Percussion, Hampton Indoor Percussion Ensemble, and Matrix Performing Arts as a cymbal technician and choreographer. Austin marched Matrix Open in 2018 and Matrix World in 2020-2021. He has been a cymbal technician with the organization since the 2022 season. Aside from these positions, Austin also acts as a consultant for several other music programs in the area.
