Charity Kennedy Bixler is a graphic designer and photographer with 16 years of experience in the fields of design, print and marketing.

She decided she wanted to be a graphic designer when she was 13 years old, and has never looked back. From that point she took every art class she was allowed, and graduated from IUP with a BA in Studio Art, concentrating in Graphic Design and Print Making, in 2010.

While at IUP Charity was a member of the IUP “The Legend” Marching Band from 2006 - 2009, and joined Matrix for their 2009 and 2010 seasons. Since college she has taught cymbals at a few high schools and is currently the Co-Director of Percussion for Carlisle Indoor Percussion at Carlisle High School and the Visual Captionhead for the Carlisle High School Marching Band, as well as the Cymbal Tech for Shippensburg University.

Participating in Matrix over a decade ago helped instill in her a love of marching, a love of indoor percussion and performance that she uses for the betterment of each of the groups she works with, and hopes to pass on to each of her students.

Charity has been designing logos and merch for Matrix since the 2020.
